yeah.. well Id like to have tips for 360s, 540s

and also for rails..Id like to be confident and I want to be sure that when I go for a big rail that I dont slide on my back.. thx

someone the other day posted a really good tip for rails/ boxes - imagine your running and jumping onto a stationary skateboard, best advice i'd ever heard

thx Ill try it out.. it shudnt be hard to imagine that cause I skateboard.. haha anyway yeah.. and anyone got anything about spins (more then 180s)

360s you spreaad your legs and get speed, then pop off the lip and turn your torso in the direction of your spin, and when you reach the 180 point, keep turning your body and spot your landing, then land and ride away.

^ you're kind of right... all the thinking goes on right before you hit something... once you're in the air its a differen't experience... but they gave good advice for if you're just starting... Don't worry it gets really easy after a while

practice spinning all the time with shoes on. i did all summer and my first day i was doing 3s with minimal air. If you don't do this just go huge your first try and have balls. Its not like an inversion where you can land on your head.

yeah i need help doing 5's ive spun it but not landed it. but like this weekend i was trying to do 5's off this little liek 10ft table cause thats all they had and i was trying it with maidens, and i really cant spin that fast, and it was a tiny jump but i couldnt even get close, i can do 3's easily on like any size of jump. so what can i do? should i just wait for a bigger jump before i try?

first of all... join the trick tip cult, theres a shit load of advice there.

for rails the way i learned was to line up with the rail like you are going to rack yourself. pop, turn, and focus on the end of the rail and never look away from that point until you get off the rail.

for spins. commit to it! look over the shoulder in the direction you're going to turn and keep looking until you spot your landing, then focus on that. biggest thing is to commit, that was my problem when i was learning and then i would come up short and die.

i predicte that even though someone has already posted the basics to doing 540s and 360s everyone else will just post the exact same thing even if they know someone else already has.....like me,

spread your legs apart, shoulder width or a tad more, come to the lip with confidence, make sure you start after you reached the end.... twist your arms and look over your shoulder, drop your arms, keep looking till you spot your landing then stretch out for obsorbing the landing, and make sure its not pencil or i'll throw shit at you!
