Tips for skiing in Switzerland

I'm going skiing in Switzerland for Christmas. I'm going to be in St. Anton and Martigny. I was wondering if anyone had tips about things to do while I'm there? I'd be down to meet up and ski if there are any locals here.

Try and find someone who knows the mountain to ski with.

They don't really like marking shit like cliffs. And you may follow the trackss of the the people who like to paraglide off cliffs on skis.

Have fun there tends to be a lot more hotties around and about in the Alps than there are in north america.

Martigny is not a ski resort, you'll be in the valley but not far from a lot of major swiss resorts.

You'll be 15/20 mins away from Verbier and 20/30 mins away from Champery and Les Portes du Soleil (Biggest ski area in the world with 650km of runs).

Plenty to enjoy.

Unfortunately, right now, there isn't much snow. Resorts are somewhat open but not fully yet. I don't think we expect much snow until the end of December (27/28) :(

Anyway, go hit Verbier !

Tis also a legal requirement to wear a helmet in Switzerland from memory. Also as the others have said in Europe we don't really mark features as outside of the pisted runs is in bounds or out of bounds like in the states, your off piste which means your essentially be on your own.

Hey bra! I'm gonna be in Adelboden from the 25th until the 13th. PM if you're gonna be around the Adelboden-Lenk area. Have fun :)
