Tips for PC trip??

Im leavn tomorrow for a 20+ hour drive to park city for a week! One of these days I will be in SLC for an official visit to the U. Is there anything I shouldn't miss in PC or SLC?

Im guessing you're not 21 since you're visiting the U, so my suggestion is ski as much as possible. There isnt much to do after skiing unless you know some people or are 21.

Ya man im at accepted students day at Utah st. ill be going to PC Saturday i dnt know anyone there so PM me if you want to ski

ya so far the plan is to ski everyday, idk about utah, but where im from not being 21 hardly causes a problem. If the travel goes as planned i'll be gettin in saturday night so no skiin sat. but i will be skiin pc the rest of the week.

great advice above... hmm what else, get a lil green and ride brighton for way cheap if you want to see the real type of mountains utah has to offer... also i heavily suggest checking out chanon thai w-S on 9th e and 3rd S... which direction you coming from, could have some suggestions for shit to hit along the way

I just drove the 22 hours from milwaukee and skied pc for the first time today and I can say its amazing, the horribly shitty drive was well worth it.
and now on to get some beer because we did not stop in wyoming which i now regret.

I just arrived in park city! after the 20 hour car ride of hell from illinois. Im super stoked to ride PC tmrw, I can see the groomers at the park from the condo Im stayin at!!! Thanks for the advice, its shapin up to be an epic week

make sure while you are in utah to get out of park city to ski elsewhere...check out snowbasin...you wont regeret it...alta is also required for a Utah trip.

Yeah... but it's supposed to dump and PC isn't that great when it snows. If you're from IL it'll be tight, but if you can get some cheap tickets to Alta or something on Craigslist or KSL.com I would do it. when you think back on your trip that'll be the day you remember

A lot better, Park city gets considerably less snow than Little or big cottonwood. Plus the terrain isn't nearly as good.

my tip for myself....don't let ur ridin buddy tear their acl 2nd day of the trip.....so this little snowboarder chick that came with on this trip tore her acl on pic n shovel today, super bummed out. I did see Eheath cruise by as we waited for ski patrol lol. Spent the rest of the day dealin with that and later got pulled over for running a stop sign that didnt exist, no ticket though (played up the lost tourist, even asked copper for directions i didnt need. So basically i need someone to ride with like wednesday and thursday, and i'm ready for the fuckin snow i been hearin about.
