Tips for first true urban rail.

Some buddies and me are going to go and hit a down flat down behind an arena tomarrow. Its the first urban rail for some of em, just lookin for some tips.

see Sammy C in Booter Crunk or if this is not available, wear long pants and sleeves so when you fall on the stairs you dont own yourself and thats abou it

yea its a tough rail if you fall. but thats why i got a helmet, also its not AS long as it looks in the pic, odds are your going to fall down the rail to the concrete below avoiding the death on the right and left
 
pretty dumb rail for first urban

probably a good idea to pick a rail that if you fall off there isnt a 100% chance of death and or decapatation
 
You're going to freak out when you are about to go on and then turn and slide off and slap yourself in the chest on one of those ledges. DANGER DANGER DANGER
 
thats pretty core for a first time urban rail. having a helmet helps, but not if you fall back and hit your neck or fall on your face. i know what those ledge walls are like ive felt them before its like 10 grit sand paper. major cheese grater.
 
Seriously, you should carry wood and some snow in a car and it a safer rail cause you'll need to build a massivejump for this ail if you want all your friends to survive.

The rail itself aint hard from what I'm seing, the porblem is getting onto urban rails, andI doubt everyone will be ableto get on it and stick it first time without falling on their side..
 
i would try a small down rail instead if you know of one, one with grass around it instead of a pointy ledge, if you guys have hit a lot of park rails from the side you might be fine though
 
idno id do it but the ledges are sketch and so close to ski season id hate to like hurt sometin (worst case scenairo) that would definately blow
 
Umm that rail is gay its to short and it has to much conseguence for no reward fuck that rail go find like a 50foot down flat down with grass on the sides and stairs in the middle it will be more fun easier and less death also it wont be nearly as gay
 
^ agreed. i don't think its worth it. the rail is really short. i'd just find a nice long mellow down for your first urban.
 
i couldnt see the pics or really see any replies in the thread because my comps being gay, but some general tips for urban...

avoid pole whips at all costs, they are not as fun as they look. theyre not THAT bad but getting literalyl whipped into a sketchy rail for a foot away is..sketchy

wear your ski pants, one so when you fall you dont get cut up, and 2 so you dont look like a douche bag

think about cops and shit.. its a lot easier than youd think to get kicked out after spending 30 minutes setting shit up

dont be a pussy, commit to what youre doing or youre gonna get wrecked.

bring barrels to carry snow in, and it will also pack it.

and i cant think of anything else right now
 
I don't think that rail is worth it, its short and deadly, if it was longer and bigger...
