Tips for doing switch ups on a flat rail??

they are better to learn on a flat down, and once you have them there, just pop more and they arent too hard on flat rails

i cant do them yet, but make sure u do them on a rail that is lower than your penis because last time i tried it, and the rail was above my waist, and i fell on my balls

The first time I learned was on a flat down, and it was super easy. Then I did it on a down rail. But if your trying it on a flat rail make sure you have it down, and remember to pop or you might fall off on your sholdier and break your collarbone like me.

u don't have to pop that hard unless u have 30 pound skis. anyway. wat i find helps. i'll go with blind side switch ups. when u hop onto the rail land alittle bit past 90 degrees, this will help insiate the spin. as u start to turn on the rail get ready, when u feel yer turning give a little hop and shift your legs the way u want to go so that yer skis land the other way on the rail. yer body will catch up. it looks cooler this way. good luck

same as what tahoe said, definitely jump on and have a mentality of buttering the rail and jump when it feels right (for blind side).

I don't think they're very hard to do on flat rails. my friends back yard rail is a 12 foot flat rail and I got BS switch up in like 3 trys

Dont do frontside switch ups!!

I think they look worse and theyre a lot harder. Just head to the rail feeling like your ready to spin/pop then ollie on but go an extra 20 degrees or so and then just look hard over your shoulder and pop - standing up straigher for a second and your skis should come around perfect. takes a lot of practice though
