This holiday season when everyone goes out to get your tree, be sure to tip the person who waits on you if he bails it, cuts it, or ties it your car. I work at a Christmas tree place and we bust our asses all day haulin around trees and nothing is worse when you dont get a tip from the people who you wait on. So remember people, a 5 dollar tip can make a persons day!
 
hell yeah tips are so nice cause im actually gunna be doing that too and getting a tip just makes your day
 
All the rich snooty fucks in their Benz and Beamers dont even say thank you but all the construction dudes in their giant pick ups say just throw it in the bed and they tip you 10 bucks cuz they know what its like to do a hard days work
 
everytime we used to go to get a tree the person that helped us ditched us so we got so used to getting our own tree its not a problem but ya i know what its like too but going around gathering christmas trees is a little easier than crawling under buildings jacking buildings and stacking cribben
 
we got our tree yesturday. they shook and bailed it, but we had to tie it to our car, so i didn't give them shit...

just kidding. well, i didn't give them anything, but that was before i read this thread, sorry bud.
 
buy an artificial tree. they last many seasons and some come with built in lights! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
 
i work valet parking ...and ud be suprised how many times i run to ppls whips and dont get tips....it fuckin sucks...i say tip everyone

I've left pennies and a note at restaurants that I am not regular at when the service is horrible.

what kind of pussy ass family doesn't cut their own tree? Unless you don't have anywhere to do that, you don't deserve a christmas!
 
Hahah yesterday I got out christmas tree and forgot to give the guy tip! He looked pissed, but he did not deserve any tip because all he did is take the money for the tree... I was the one who had to put the tree in the car, he didn't even touch the tree.
 
i am a treeplanter, and I guarantee its harder job than any of you kids do and nobody tips me. If you dont like your part-time job haulin trees, get a different job. Don't complain about not getting tips. Especially with something where most people prob dont realize you're supposed to tip. You tip valet, waiters, bartenders, etc. Any job where they get paid less than minimum wage to work. I bet you get minimum wage and are still complaining.

Unless you do something to totally wow me, you're probably not going to get a tip.

You don't get tips for a job you're supposed to do.. that's why you get paid. Got a problem with that? take it up with your boss
 
truth,,, i dont expect to get tipped at my job, so why should you expect to get tipped at yours? your not a waiter so shut up
 
even valets prob shouldnt get tipped, really, they cant go above and beyond the call of duty. they drive the car. done. so they run to your car, get a promotion. I believe that if you do your job, you get a wage. If you do consistently above average work at your job and want compensation, you take it up with your boss.
 
why don't people give me tips for lugging their groceries across scanners. standing on your feet all day sucks. give your cashiers tips
 
and buying some mass produced 50-100 dollar tree a month before hand and keeping it alive with chemicals hasn't already ruined christmas? asshole?

5 bucks dude screw you, it takes you like 15 minutes per person tops, that's 20 bucks an hour just from tips! why would some 12 year old boy scout deserve to make 20 bucks an hour? maybe i'll tip them with the change i have in my pocket so he can buy a fresh pack of pokemon cards or somethin.

im not really sure why there are tips in general...i mean its not like i dont give them to ppl...but what for?

they are providing a service that i pay for...food or whatever...and they get paid for doing their job...why the tip? ...and if its bc they get below minimum wage then thats retarded...its a minimum for a reason
 
well it makes sense for like waitress or somethin otherwise they wouldn't have as much incentive to be nice and friendly and all that good stuff...
 
i like the approach, if someone isnt being up to par with the service they provide, the person gets fired or the company goes out of business. Especially now that waitering and waitressing is pretty much tip added all the time no matter what. The only benefit of tipping is that with lower paying jobs, tips provide a non-taxable income. Since the people at these shitty jobs don't make much money anyways, they need all the money they can get. But some snot nosed teenager wanting a tip? fuck off and go ask mommy and daddy for more allowance.
 
I'm going to make extra certain not to tip the guy. Instead I will ask his mother for a date, buy her an expensive seafood dinner, kiss her goodnight THAN NEVER CALL HER AGAIN.
