Tip Stands

So Ive been practicing my tip stands lately but most of the time I just pop right out of my binding from the back. Anyway to fix this?

yeah up your din. my friend had that issue but he put his din up and it worked. what kin of bindings do you have too?

it took me a while to get them on my new skis (bridges) because they're pretty stiff, so i bring one ski back first. Get pretty stable on the first ski, then bring back the other. But if you're on flexy skis, all you really do is lean forward and tuck your knees

and as for popping out, all i had to do was tighten up the din on my bindings. If it still happens, try to get up quicker, because if you've got all of your weight forward for too long, you'll pop out either way.

No wonder your popping out, those aren't bindings they're fish!

yeah its called a noseblock or a nosepick.

check your bindings but remember to also check your forward pressure and your toe height.

Ive had that picture as my background and I love it. So yeah im gonna check my foward pressure and all that jazz next time.

put your poles by your tips. put weight on them. throw your body forward so only a bit of your tails are coming off the ground. bend your knees and bring em up.

you gotta try and pull your feet up to your knees, you might just be putting too much torque on your binding, up the din then try again

check out the unrockering hellbents thread... funniest shit ever. you will get it after you look at it
