Time for a new watch

apperently my ripcurl watch just killed itself. apperently it rusted inside and stopped working. im bummed. but hey, what can you do. had the watch like 2 years and was pretty hard on it. it was a gift anyway.

so now im in the market for a new watch. looked through the threads and im looking for a watch for a teenager. non of this tag huer rolex stuff. im not 50.

i looked at some nixons, and dont get me wrong. very sick watches. but everybody rocks them. who can give me some ideas of sick watches that not everybody has?

 
that flud place looks very sick. im a fan of the crunch one. but i do prefer steal bands rather than leather. do you have any experience with them? quality?
 
I rock a nixon, its sweeet, but he said too many people have them.

check freestyle watches, I remember their prices being more reasonable as well.

vestal looks to have some cool shit too, but its pricey I think?
 
nixon is where it is at. They have the sickest tech support that will pretty much give you a new watch. Nixon is my vote

Get a freestyle. I've had mine for over 2 years, in and out of the ocean a LOT and it's still working great.

i know you're just bullshiting, but i feel that i should still let you know that you have terrible tastes in watches.
 
get a Tag Heuer. I got one for my graduation, and it's such a sick watch...if your willing to drop a G for a watch.
 
unrelated but kinda, a tiny bug crawled through the speaker on my friend's iphone and he tried to shake it out and as he was doing that, the bug died, so now there's a bug on the inside of his screen that you see whenever you use it, kinda related to internal rusting...
 
actually nothing to do with the thread, but funny anyway.

and how does that nooka watch tell the time?
