almost like 900 bucks WTF. I got my mammoth season pass late last november for that and I'm skiing into July. 900 for 3 months of skiing to me is kind of a rip off. Is it just me or was it a whole lot cheaper last year?
everything fun to do cost money. and what's more fun than skiing in the summer? thus, why passes are 900. it is ridiculous but it is skiing from june-august.
true, I'm not knocking Timberline because I haven't been there but I just find it unfortunate that skiing is more expensive in the offseason. I understand they have to charge more to cover the overhead because the summer season isnt so profitable.
As much as it sucks that it is soo damn expensive to ride T-line in the summer, think about how many more people would be there if it were only $40 a day to go ride or a $500 pass or something. Supply and demand.
lol!! hey, about your name.......you could easily change it from _SEA_ so I stop thinking about Seattle every time you post and how embarrassed I would be if you lived in the same city as me!
And to the post above me... I highly doubt that $1000 pass you're talking about works for the WHOLE year, probably just the "winter season" if that makes any sense. Like when operations begin through the springtime, until the "summer season" starts.
Its so expensive, but it makes sense. Once I asked a lift -op and he was like, if the dam jibbers stop recking all the bamboos, which cost 5$, maybe the ticket prices wouldnt be 55 a day....lol
but seriously, they charge that much because they can and people will.A spring pass is 99$ for 2 months, a summer pass is 900$ for 3 months. spring passes are the sickest.
