Timberline - Palmer Mini Park - December 1

Hey Kids - I took another long lunch today and got up to the little park on the Palmer before the clouds rolled in. While I was there, it was a bit windy and a little cold on the lift, but I was warm and gloveless while hiking. They have set up some additional features since last Monday - there is now a down-flat rail, corrugated pipe set cannon style, flat box, rainbow box, down rail with donkey dick, flat - down rail, boulder jib and a sweet little pole jam. I gave a couple of employees a ride down to the Scummits, and they said there were some other "top secret" new features to be disclosed as the season gets going. Maybe some other skate/urban style features? Hmm.....

Oh, Sammy was killing it again, but that really goes without saying.
 
It was actually a nice scene up there today. Good little crowd of hooligans for a monday. The weather was a bit cold but the snow was warm and soft, felt like a summer sesh. Anyway the feature you speak of is in fact an urban legend, well not quite a legend yet but hopefully after it's ridden a bit people will like it. It's supposed to be unleashed this friday night at our first friday night rail jam, (weather depending) If we don't get snow we may have to postpone, so now would be a good time for some dumpage. The plan with the friday night rail jams is to introduce a new feature at each event, then after the jam we will incorporate it into the park. Hopefully by the end of the season we'll have a bunch of new rails to play with. Looks like a little snow for tomorrow, but not much.

Sammy's always killing it. Friday he got 270 on sw up 450 out all four ways! That park is so fun right now and so easy to hike. Im looking forward to this weekend, all those rails were so fun. I hit all the rails together at least 50 times probably more. Thanks timberline
