Timberline Lodge Summer Lift Tix

I’m taking two of my daughters to Timberline Lodge to cure some Summertime Blues and satisfy our ski stoke, if only for a couple days.

I’m no dentist and the daily lift tix aren’t cheap - are there any discounts for Summer skiing at Timberline? Please hook a brother up.

It could be your last day on earth and Timberline would still charge you the regular price, in fact, Duncan the lifty would probably find you and charge you double just out of spite.

Duncan the lifty

Every time I've gone to hood there has always been a sign at the magic mile lift that says "Do NOT ask Duncan if Palmer is open" lmao

Discounts lol. Pro passes do exist but they're pretty tough to come buy and that gets you in for 40. But yeah unfortunately probably paying full price unless you roll up late and find tickets in the lot

I got a serious ? For those of you with hood experience. Applies to other places as well.

what’s the vibe towards say a dad and his kids there? I always thought the “summer” resorts were for “camps” and “pros”, seems like large groups of experts might not be a fun place for non pros?

ex: when I go to Jackson alone, people throw me good vibes, “nice fit” “badass sticks” whatever….when I go with my “noob” children, the j holes come out…..

there are no rules about who can or cant go skiing somewhere, people who get mad about someone bringing their kids or whatever has selfish intentions

Amen brother. My kids aren’t pros but they’re not exactly noobs either. One of ‘em out skis me and the other rides with so much style it’s ridiculous. Regardless, I couldn’t agree more about who can and can’t ski somewhere. Give respect, get respect.

It’s all good vibes up there for the most part. But best bet is to go on a weekend when all the camps aren’t there and the lines are short. The race lanes will start to empty out around 11 and then you will be able to ski pretty much wherever you want. Just dont cut through race courses or cut people off in the park and you’ll have a good time

Thx. That sounds re assuring. I’d have never guessed go weekends for short lines, I’ve always skied weekdays and avoided weekends for those exact reasons

Public park is moving to where the camps were which is cool. Ftc is done this weekend i believe but it looks like high cascade is booking more sessions which will be less fun for uncrowded locals vibe rope tows.

Also pipe cutter broke 2 noghts ago so even though the 22 jist went public this week its already dead.

As far as kids there should be a mix of stuff setup. Those upper zones honestly have had a better mix of small medium features. Mile park gets weird sometimes.

Hopefully we keep the tows going for a couple weeks. Pipe tow is out/pipe is done. Lower tow is out after the weekend still i believe. Hoping they keep mile pipe at least going since it's riding well and the 22 is dead.

Snow is looking really good still honestly for this late. Can still ski to the parking lot. Gotta walk across above to get back to mile but still getting on off sith skis which is sweet. Way better snow than last season.

Great information - thanks!!! We’re headed there July 31st-Aug 2nd. The small to medium features sounds perfect - great to hear that the snow is still pretty good!!!

Is the big jump with tow rope still going to be runnin next week??

How are Friday’s looking up there in terms of crowds, last year I had weekends off and loved the off days for camps but only have fridays off this summer and haven’t made it up from bend yet planning on next week after this heatwave mellows out.
