Tim Tebow wins the Heisman

good for him, only a sophmore, but its been a wild college season. we should be talking about how badly the bcs bowl system works...

i dont see how college football sucked this season, but tebow has done stuff that has never been done before 20 rush and pass td's. he's a great player no doubt and i think deserves the heisman. i do like to watch mcfadden though, he's a badass.

I think Colt brennan shoulda won

and I think if Hawaii would have played tougher teams they would have done just fine. and there going to beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Colt Brennan has been playing against high school teams all year. Georgia is on an entirely different level. We will see who deserves that trophy when Brennan has to throw against a team with a secondary, fast as hell linebackers, and a huge D-line. Georgia is in the SEC (Florida, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, etc.) and they play the best teams in the nation on a regular basis, and often win.

Georgia > Hawaii

I dont think Colt Brennen should have won, not because he isnt incredibly gifted, because he is, but because I think that the BCS is already sending the complete wrong message to the other mid majors which is, we dont care if two of your wins come against AA teams, as long as you beat up on them and go undefeated, we will let you into this mess called the BCS. If they would have given the heisman to him that would only reaffirm that message. Not that Hawaii isnt good, but lets be honest, who really knows? There is no national measuring stick to measure them up against other than Boise State. Mid majors need to step up and get some big wins against quality teams to get respect. Period.

tebow deserved it. If florida doesnt have him they suck. Arkansas has felix jones who averaged almost 10 yards per carry. 22 rushing td and 29 passing that is damn good

a was kinda hopin for mcfadden since he didn't win it as a sophmore and it was his turn to win..considering tebow would have atleast one more chance to capture the heisman...but i think they all would have lost to Dennis Dixon if he hadn't got hurt

The Heisman trophy goes to the best player in college football for that season. No other season should have anything to do with it. McFadden didn't put up big numbers every week. Tebow did. He deserved it.

i wanted colt brennan, he should have won last year or this year with 58 td passes last year. but hawaii also had like the 2nd easiest schedule

this kid speaks the truth

colt brennan and hawaii have been playing the shittiest teams ever they went down by two or three tds against washington in the first half and has that kid thought about georgias running game agaisnt hawaiis shit run defense

If Dixon didn't get hurt he would have been my choice, along with Oregon going to a sweet bowl game, but of the four, tebow was probably best choice

Well see what happens. I agree that he was not in a tough division but its still pretty amazing what he's done by throwing 131 TDs and averaging over 400 yards passing a game. So the is coming up to see if he's the real deal. and I agree with the people who said Dixon should have one if he wasnt injured.

dude if i was dennis dixon id be soo pissed! he totally could have won it but he got a stupid injury and ever since then oregon has sucked mega nuts

It would not have been close had Dixon stayed healthy. I'm sorry it's just that Dixon is too big of a boss. And his uniform looks way better.

Is that not what the BCS is doing by sending Hawaii to the BCS? Boise State won their BCS bowl last year and at least gave the WAC some credit. Unfortunately, if Hawaii wins it will be because Georgia blew it and not because Hawaii was good. At least thats how the media will portray it.

I just really hope the SEC doesn't play well in bowls so ESPN stops sucking their dick. Same with the Pac 10 too. They suck hard.

At what point in there did you see them stepping up and getting a big time win? At least BYU (the next highest mid major) showed some balls and scheduled a team like UCLA (which regrettably didnt step up to be the team they could have been) and have scheduled teams like USC, Boston College, and other top tier programs in the past. End results, BYU gets the Las Vegas bullshit bowl and hawaii gets into the BCS by beating a weak ass schedule. That will only mean that mid majors will get lax on scheduling quality opponents and become a pathetic team that is going to get womped on by a much better team in their BCS game. It will only make the quality difference in the Mid Majors vs. BCS conferences that much bigger.

no way, the public was all over tebows dick with 20 rushing 20 passing

and yeah the BCS system is terribal, definitly need a playoff system

TEBOW ROCKS! He's young and cocky...I love him. And besides, he's representing my school! Sorry, I bleed Orange and Blue. Back to back!

YES!!! I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN THEY ANNOUNCED IT! I RAN AROUND MY HOUSE LIKE CRAZY.....I FUCKING LOVE THE GATORS AND TIM TEBOW (in a tottaly non gay way)
