i am actually so addicted to timmy's like many canadians are.

something about their coffee..we even buy the tin cans and bring it home and make it but it's still not the same. god damnit!

who is addicted to timmy's?
 
I think you'd get fat if you lived where I do, across the street infront of my house.....theres a tim hortons.

i used to be when where i did my co-op had one right across the street. Always had to get a cap and a donut in the morning
 
the stuff they sell to brew at home is actually a completely different recipe

so glad I dont drink coffee :)
 
I am CANADIAN and i fucking hate Timmy's guts! it is the blandest place ever with so many fat roller pice of shits. ( fat rollers are useless fat people that are soo fat if you push them over they will roll) MOstly i hate how bland and boring it is in there.....and how it is seen as such a canadian thing.....and who it is owned by americans. Its fucked up...and thier food sucks quite a bit.

lots of ppl either hate timmy's because so many ppl love timmy's or love timmy's cuz there is just something about it.

straight up, canadians hate it or love it. i personally, love timmy's.

i swear they put cocaine in their coffee. i can't stop drinking the shit. and i get these insatiable cravings for more... wow i think i'm gonna go get some right now!
 
the dougnuts are okey...but they don't even make em there, they just microwave em from frozen...which makes it even crappier. but next time you go in there just think of how bland and boring it is, and how it works to the stereo type that that is what canadians are.
 
i LOVE it...i drink too much of it...well i don't think that is possible....but yes i couldn't agree more!

I'm not canadian, so the amount of Tim Hortons near me are very limited.
 
the whole company may be american owned, but most of the money goes to franchise owners, who are canadian. trust me. i know some very rich franchise owners
 
tim hortons used to be really good before they started freeznig their donuts and turning every vintage timmys into a mcdonalds.

I liked the days with the Tim Horton picture on the wall and the brick walls inside and fresh donutz with the ghetto box.

Those days i missed.

I've recently converted to starbucks.

How'ever the best place for coffee is the Bridgehead downtown on bank.
 
its amazing how many people are switching there...it is good...but i am still a timmies guy
 
yah we held chess nights there. Bridgehead is awesome.

Starbucks is like huge outwest. whistler has 2. And since i work right beside one of them its Lattes for me! extra foamy, 5 seconds of sugar.
 
Tim's rocks, they cheat by putting salt in thier coffee though, that's why you can never make it the same at home... Haven't you ever noticed if you are thirsty when you get a coffee there you're even more thirsty after you've drunk it. They have some "magic" temperature for thier water too.. I just switched from Double-Double to milk-no-sugar, boy was that tough to do, but hey, another day, another donut!!!
 
i live in the tim hortons capitol of canada (most timmy's per capita) and i love timbits. i love them:)

and even though we have 10 tim hortons and 30,000 people, i have never seen one without a lineup.
 
i went to timmys the other night, and some locations, like near algonquin in ottawa, lock the doors from 11p-5a for safety reasons which is fair. but then they tell you to use the drive through, so we(i was with a friend) went and knocked on the drive through window and they wouldnt serve us. they said they are not allowed unless you are in a car. What kind of Bullshit is that. the are right behind a residence and right beside a bunch of apts and townhouess which are majority full of students, who majority do NOT have a car.
 
that actually makes sence. it would be a lot easier to fuck them up if you werent in the car. and to steal shit then run and stuff
 
how would you steal shit, they make you pay first. also whats the difference if your in the store or not. it the store they have a counter in the way
 
^speaking of timmies in ottawa... a lot of peeps in ottawa do this gay thing where they sit on their cars in the parking lots of random timmies across the city..wtf is up with that?
 
One of the reasons: its the caffiene inhibiting the water re-absoption in your kidneys, meaning you are retaining less water that you drink. This also means that even if you drink water after the coffee, the caffiene sticks around and you won't take it in as well.

They may ad salt to it as well..I can't really say.
 
They did sell out. The company went public March 24th, 2006. That means anyone can now buy thier stock on the exchange. The major share holders may still be the original owners though, but they made 42% on the first day after the IPO which is $$$$$$$, so I imagine they sold a tonne. Hopefully it was mostly canadian buyers, although I dislike the place. They are starting to invade urban canada and I dislike it.
 
I heart timmy's, but now that I'm back in Calgary and don't live near one I'm off it for the next 6 weeks. then I'll hit it up during my long drive back to whistler, then off it for good!
 
fuck yea canada but yea i agree there are way to many tim hortons and all there coffe has nicotine like withiin a couple miles of my house theres like 4 tim hortons... its just not right
 
Lindsay is a small town, maybe less than 20,000 people, not even im guessing, anyways we have 4 tim hortons, all get used very well
 
its pretty much the tim hortons equivalent in America. Teenage american girls just cant get enough of that expensive hyper piss.
