Tignes until Xgames

So im heading to Tignes on the 19thFeb and staying until after Xgames.. i know a few people that teach there but need more contacts to shred with...

Keen to shred the whole mountain when its fresh but otherwise park all day

I was in Tignes last week. The main pistes get chopped up pretty bad unless they have fresh snow during the night/day.

Expect lots of queues after 10am on most lifts, especially Ticot(?) as most of the ski schools/racers use that lift.

The park in the Tignes area is tiny and non of the features are scary (I was comfortable hitting everything switch).

Expect prices to raise by a stupid amount the week before and during Winter X.

Ski the "Fingers", probably some of the gnarliest lines this side of the pond.

Where are the 'fingers' if you can disclose such information? Or is it fairly obvious when you are there? Thanks

Luckily Tignes is right beside Val d'isere so if I was you i'd go there for alot of your holiday. It's got a far more superior park with loads of varying features and lines of different difficulty (val park) and plenty of sweet off piste. That's the one good thing about staying in Tignes; you're a lift ride away from Val d'isere. Tignes park is okay but it's pretty limited especially when it comes to advanced/expert features.

The "Fingers" are opposite Le Lac. Take the "Aeroski" lift and it's accessible from there.

cant fucking wait! booking my flights today.. will be arriving next week on saturday! Staying down at Chalet Chardons in les Brevieres for the first week and will be at a place called Lavachet Lodge lodge up at Le Lavachet for the next 4 weeks! stoked.

I live oppostite chardons, the tignes park have made there XL line waaaay better in the last couple of weeks. both parks are good this year

OK so Lavachet Lodge just told me that they had already booked my room out from the 8/3 - 12/3 so i need to find some cheap accom for 4 days or if there is anyone out there dope enough to let me crash on your couch for a few days that would be perfect.

im heading out in easter for a week. hopefully learn some stuff. its good cause they got a free airbag in the tignes park which should be really good for getting tricks down before i commit to them on snow.
