Tight ski pants and no poles- love em,hate em?

wow. thats the best first post i've ever seen. who gives a shit what you wear as long as you slay whatever your into, whether it be park/pipe/pow or whatever floats your boat
 
if you are wearing tight pants, then thats you thing, i am not fond of it and thats why you woulnt see me sewing my pants up next year, also poles arent that important, but i feel you should be an excellent skier to not be using them.. i see too many dickbags riding around the mountain with no poles looking like complete joeys. the only problem i have with no poles tight pants is that it seems the kids with the tight pants only do shitty 180 shiftys, and even crappy 540's, learn to ski before you decide to look like a dumbass
 
tight pants are stupid and useless what is one reason u would wear them except to look "cool"? they are not comfortable they are not warm and imo look gay.
 
whats 1 reason to wear baggy pants? tight pants are very comfortable and easier to move around in cause you dont have to be constantly making sure they dont fall down, you dont have all that extra material flapping around, you dont have a constant wedgie, and they are way warmer than baggy pants, like how proper fitting gloves are warmer than ones that are too big. and they dont look stupid.
if you look at all the skiers with "tight" pants, none of them are actually tight, they just fit like any other pair of pants you would wear off the hill, which is why people like them, cause you dont totally change your image from normal white person to a super thug once you touch snow. and since they arent skin tight or anything you can still move around in them better than baggy shit, which makes them more comfortable. and they look way better than baggy stuff.

you can wear baggy shit and not have it falling down all the time/have it look "super thug".....and how do you have a wedgie more often with baggy pants than with tight pants?
 
yeah im fine with the baggy stuff when people arent going crazy and wearing like 10 xxxxxxxl tall t's and huge marshmallow pants. trying to be as thug as possible. like the idea people, thats cool. its just the people who honestly think they are 100% black. that start to bother me. gangster and skiing have nothing in common at all.
and i dont think you are anyone else realizes that skiing and snowboardings definition of tight pants, is normal fitting. so they arent skin tight, they are just form fitting with a little bit of baggyness so they look like normal pants.
which is why you dont get a wedgie, cause they arent constantly riding way below your ass and pulling your boxers up.
just look at max hill and you will understand what i mean by normal fitting.
 
when Im watching ski movies and stuff I just cant respect the skiers with tight pants. I dont know why but its just weird even if they are good. they look like those weird hippies with the bell bottom pants. no poles are just sweet. except when like 10 year olds ski around the park with their rental shop 05 line invaders hitting the takeoffs for the rails like they are big jumps. i hate those kids so much.
 
its the same with me only i cant respect the thugs, like when i watch that jibberish edit, they are really really really good, and really steezy, but its like watching an eminem rap video, only trying to be more gangster, but only looking more white. only one in that video i like is delorme, he doesnt try to be gangster, he is just steezy as hell. but for the rest of that edit, i just laugh. same with the finger on da trigger snowboard video's like when they do gangster pose's when they ride away, its just sooo damn wierd.
i can respect the tight pants guys alot more cause they seem to just have a much better attitude about skiing, like much more relaxed and more about having fun than worrying about how gangster you look to everyone else, and how much you can force your style.
and nobody beats max hills style nobody even comes close, except for maybe delorme.
 
I can't respect kids that suck shit at skiing and wear huge baggy clothes. You can see they just want to look dope rather than be a dope skier.
 
i want to clarify cos xtreme has many valid ponts but a few that i disagree with. tight pants to me are ones that always touch my leg all the way round, if i don't have them on i feel weird like i'm wearing someone elses clothes. they don't keep you any warmer than baggy pants, they are not necceserilly more comfy although not nececerilly less and the main reason i wear them and not baggy ones is cos i like the way they look.

i also prefer to watch any tight pants pro to any baggy pro cos they just look cooler. not to discredit baggy pant wearing pros cos i still love to watch people get all 9th ward on shit.

Just take a look at Max Hill and Cedric Tremblay those guys have some style

but you need to know how to wear them... I don't know how they do I'm pretty sure it's in your blood or something...
 
yeah but i still think the pants that are form fitting are classified as tight, like the max hill style, they still fit loose around the legs, but they are nowhere near baggy. and thats the style i think most people think of, the skin tight stuff is sweet, but harder to pull off.

I rock no pole and xxxxl pants however i do think tight pants wold be extremely uncomfortable... but I'm not the one wearing them
 
Is it necessary to have so many threads on tight pants and no poles? But I guess this is a pretty genius idea to put both topics into one thread. Nice try at consolidating.

you are right sking in tight pants it what we always didn;t want to look like (racer/gaper) and only looks good on a couple of snowboarders...

but as it;s called freeski any one can do whatever they want
 
i kinda like the tightpnts look. although i dont see how they move in them. i think it looks better than a tall tee down to your knees adn your pants at your ankles but thats just me. but whatever you like you like and thats what you should wear.

it's just kids trying to be different. it dosnt matter who wears what, it's all about fun and thats what matters. Where what makes you happy, and helps you have fun. Don't worry about what other kids are wearing/doing.

I'm all for the tight pants, it's kids trying to get away from all the other freestyle skiers that try and dress like thugs! It's just something different
 
haha, funny story i actualy bought ny sisters purple snowpants of her for $20 and (get this) sewed them even tighter! and before you go ahead and say "oh thats so gay" i would like you to know that i posted a picture of them in that other tightpants thread, and within 2 days i had about 7 messages from people asking where they could get those pants.
