Throwback, skiingmotion

I'm not sure how many of you remember this, but there used to be a website called skiingmotion, and it had up all sorts of clips with trick tips from the pros. This was back in like '03 (maybe earlier, who knows.) Yes I'm old.

Anyway, I have found a crap ton of these clips and figured I'd share them with everyone for some awesome freestyle nostalgia.

I got a ton more and I'll throw them all in this thread to keep them in one place.

Here is the trick tip on how to do a Risky Flip:

"There are actually two tricks in one here. First, knowing how to do d-spins is helpful, and second, you need to know how to do backflips. The first part of the trick is like a d-spin. I come off the lip and throw back under my left armpit (depending on which way you spin). If you set it right, the the first part of the trick will come around. Look for your landing and put your feet down. To add the back flip, come off the lip and throw it a little harder. When you come around for your landing, you should feel like you're in the backseat. Throw your head back and go with it, looking for your landing. When your landing comes into view, whip your legs around and put your feet down."

Have fun trying that :)

Yeah I started in like '01 skiing in college at mt snow. Shit was blowing up. Someone told me about skiing motion, and sasfilms.com (Neil was the shit and pretty much covered the entire North East... I'm so pissed I lost my downloads all of those edits he made)

It wasn't until like '03 I discovered newschoolers. Man all of this takes me back. So much fun!

Line Mike nick pros! He was like my idol, and I was obsessed with doing kangs in every trick trying to bone them out just like he did... hilarious to look back on now.

I remember all the funny looks in the lift line, and the instant friends with anyone else riding twins. Don't get me wrong, I love the community now, but hell it was super underground back then.
