awkward story time.

so when we moved here, my mom really wanted to go too a thrift store too find some vintage furniture she could restore for an "artsy" effect.

she wanted me to come, and she said there was a huge one by us called "diversity thrift". now neither of us even thought twice about the name, and went that day.

the entire building was a fucking rainbow, and it was a gay community center. shit got so awkward so fast it wasnt even funny.

Have picked up some pretty awesome ties from thrift stores. Got a Home Improvement tie, to remember Tim the Tool Man Taylor last week, pretty awesome.

Once, me and my friend were chillen, I went over to his place and we were just walkin around town... I'm like 'dawg lets go in the Salvation Army' He was like"Isnt that where homeless people shop?" and five bucks later, he had himself a mint skateboard.

Countless horribly ugly yet incredibly awesome wool/polyester 80's sweaters; button-fly, high waisted jean shorts and a beaded vest. Chill.

I'v always wondered if other people though of goodwill as like a fun place too shop. i feel like a dick walking around in there with an iphone in my pocket and about $150 of clothing on

Haha that's what I was thinking. Then I realized, that they don't think we are dicks. They think we are retarted for buying expensive clothes when they buy clothes that are almost as awesome for 3 bucks at a thrift store.
