to clarify those are my pics but calling me evan's man might be a bit of an overstatement. In reality i am in a blosoming relationship with someone else who Pwns Evan in most areas of life

parker did a fucking DOPE frontflip kang on the bike jump line and cased. he hit his face on his knee
 
and before that he got caught up doing a backflip on the same bike line jump and landed upside down. parker always gets hurt at loon

$ki Block wore white shirts for the final in memory of Alex, which explains why they ahve white shirts on in most of the pictures I took after the contest.
 
Ya, that's a good representation of the finals apart from the trains that went down a few times. I love the pole tosses on the triple box, glad you got a shot of that. Creepy to hear my voice a few times too, and pete's reactions are priceless.
 
The contest went off and we owe it all to the riders, everyone killed it. We got a lot more planned and if you guys keep giving us the support, we will be able to keep putting on more new events like this. BMC is definately on for next year along with possibly some 2 day "madness".....we got plenty more tricks up our sleeve.
 
Judging was bullshit, i understand that it is hard to judge, but honostly the first round was retarded. One of the three teams that moved on (not to name names) HAD AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE FALL EACH OF THERE RUNS, and some how they beat a team that stomped there run, who tricks in my mind were equal or superior to the team that fell. I could there being problems if 2 teams of the same calaber skiing stomped there runs, but one team blantly fell...... and still one. How does that work???

I dont mean to hate on the 382 comp, it was run well, and the course was sick. But next year mabey you should get people who know what there doing to judge.... or mabey people that are blind.....

I know ill definatly being going back next year, but hopefully it isnt a mockery of judging like it was this year.....
 
the judgdes were legit. remeber man it wasnt all judged on the shit that was thrown, if u saw some teams go they had so much iriginality which is what they were looking for. 382 deserves props. I know what u mean though, when u see a team fall and u land shit its mad frustrating, but if u look past that, it was the most orginized and dun comp ever introduced to skiing! 382 kills it and cant wait for next year.
 
ya its too bad stept got out but calling the judging a mockery is harsh. in my opinion it was one of the best run and fun comps ive been too. so way to go 382 i still think your friendly
 
wowwwwwwww ski block KILLED it. i musta been taking laps on the lift (cause im lazy and i didnt wanna hike haha) while most of that was going down. i missed soo mucch! that was by far the best comp of the year.. props to 382
 
well i dont know what you saw about people falling, because i saw nig and 4bi9 land at least a run, and i know ski block got at least a run too. and personally i thought the judging was perfect.
 
I'm not going to sit here and justify any of our decisions as judges. We stand by our decisions and all of us agreed it was the right call at the time, and STILL say it was the right call. I had a team member of yours (not to name names) tell me you were being ridiculous about it (actually it was more 'Nick was crying in the woods and being ridiculous about the whole thing'), and I tend to agree with them (although I don't think you were actually crying in the woods, or crying at all).

You definitely killed it all day long man, no disrespect to you as a skier at all, but you're gonna learn as you get older that sometimes not everything works out as you want it to. If you keep striving on things when they don't go perfectly your way and whining about them constantly, you're going to unhappy A LOT. It reflects quite badly on your character when you do such things and people start to think of you as a 'whiny sore loser'. I'm sorry you felt cheated enough to suggest that I and the rest of our crew are out of touch with skiing, blind, and bad at judging (none of which are true at all in fact), but I know we all stand by the judging 100%.

To everyone else saying the comp was well put together and showing us love, it means a lot to us, believe me, we all feel the same. It was the first comp ANY of us had ever put on so to have the first one go so well was amazing, and I know it was due to a lot of the competitors having a great time and just skiing for what it really should be, FUN. Next year is gonna be a good time as well, hopefully it'll be a lot bigger as well.
 
complaining is weeeaaakkkk. get over it. thats not what the contest was about. dont disrespect people who are working ridiculously hard to make a difference. just weakkkk.
 
I agree it was a sick contest. And i do get beaten alot, and i accept it willingly, you will always win some and loose some. But i just didnt think i was justified at all. Still no one has told me how a team that falls wins..... All the kids who put on the comp are chill, and i like them all but i just thought it was sorta redicoulse. Sorry for getting so mad, but i just didnt agree with the results.
 
Chill man, why are YOU the only one complaining? and if i remember correctly almost YOUR whole crew fell in the first round. The right people advanced, the right crew won, it was a week ago, you still got to ride the setup ALL DAY, come back hungry next year.
 
i was up there that day and saw some of the comp. looked like a sweet set up. you guys musta been pumped to see all that up for your first comp. I wish i could have stayed and seen the finals.
