Threads Disappearing due to . . . .

Yesterday I created a thread in non-ski gabber. I went to check on the answers to my questions I asked in the thread, and the thread was gone. It led me straight to the "pick a forum" page. I really think that when getting rid of a thread, there should be some kind of notification, so I can read what was wrong with the thread I created.

I would really just like to have my thread back. It disappeared.

No. We delete too many threads. If it's gone, there was a reason, even if that reason is "your thread was stupid". We used to have an automatic message when threads were deleted to notify people, but this resulted in 50 pm's a day, all saying exactly the same thing: "why". You will survive the deletion of your thread, move on.

You were asking people to help you pirate software. We don't allow that in the forums so automatic deletion

threads aren't accidentally deleted. if it's gone, it's gone for a reason and my guess is that if you really think about it you can find a reason why it was deleted
