Thoughts on the ipad/tablets

Made this post using my sisters iPad, and to be completely honest I'm not that impressed. What is everyone raving about? It's just an iPod touch with a big screen and in my opinion far less convenient. I mean it is cool, but I guess I was just expecting a lot more.

What does everyone else think about it? My professors love the thing and recommend that I get one for my work, but I just don't see it. Thoughts?
 
if you have a smart phone and a computer, you dont need a tab. otherwise they can be useful if you dont own one or both of these
 
I am writing from it right now, and I love mine, it's like a laptop it v

Can do some things better, some things not as well, onece you learn how to use it good, it's amazing.
