snowboarders ride wide skis sideways

theyre basically the same as skiiers, just with a culture that comes more from skateboarding directly

i think this is cause snowboarders got their start biting skaters

also park snowboarding is far more known than park skiing, which is unfair (compare the name sean witte to simen doomant, popularity wise)

either way, basically the same sport

snowboarding is harder to learn, but easier on some features as you have less control of your stability, (you cant scissor on a board) which is helpful, at first, and annoying later on
