Thoughts on Nomad 105s?

I’m trying to get into freeride, and I’m debating if I should trade my prodigy 2.0s for a pair of nomad 105s. Can you guys give me any input about the nomads?

My buddy used to have a pair that I've tried. Great for soft snow, super easy to pivot and turn. Less good for hardpack since they are fully rockered. They tend to skid more than carve. In a word; loose.

Not sure about older models but this year and the prior 3 years have not been fully rockered. I know the 125 was full rocker RIP.

Should be a great one ski quiver for most areas.

So this year I am (was) getting a whole new setup (boots bindings planks) and during my 6 months of research the nomads made it to my final 4 I actually ordered a pair and when the arrived I was pumped however after looking them over something didn't sit right with me.. and after some more research I found that they tend to get beat up a lot quicker than most skis due to there top sheet construction well I returned them and went with some moments ..That said if you dont care if your skis look beat up then go for them they are an amazing ski from everything I learned about them but my personal opinion is that if your going to drop 800+ for ski it should be able to take some abuse and not look like hell for a while
