Thoughts on my edit???

The deepness and cultural significance of your commentary on the disparities between the impoverished and bourgeois is not only bold, but inspirational. The video playing behind the main gives off a sense of mystery. The undertones of subtlety in the dark colors show that the impoverished are trapped in a dark and inescapable world, immeasurably distanced from the empyrean wonderland of the bourgeois. The resolution of your edit truly stands out. You place yourself as if you are one of them, the impecunious, who can only afford to purchase video recording equipment from thrift stores. You are a modern day soldier fighting for social justice and solidarity.

To be honest... I'd say its pretty dark, and the background is kind of distracting.
I say keep skiing and grinding away, If you got the passion you can turn that into a rad edit.
I'm by no means a pro at this kind of thing.... But
If you film at night I think you can usually get better shots with a little more light. You might be able to use your car headlights or a cheap flood light to shine on whatever feature you are hitting, that way it isnt so dark and blurry. A cool Idea might be to wear glowsticks... Could come off tacky, but might be sick if well executed. I really liked that shot of you clicking into your bindings, I think that would be a perfect little intro/hook. Its quick, cool and tells everybody "I am about to ski" without dragging the viewer along on.
