Thoughts on Gus Kenworthy

I think I might have caught a glimpse of Gus in the village the other night, and a number of thoughts chased through my mind. Firstly, could a sixteen year old be awesome enough to want to spend time with off the hill? What kind of sushi does he order, and whose fake ID does he use to try to get into the Fish. Rumors are swirling through the summer air that Gus threw down a switch double cork mute 10 the other day and somehow managed to break his pole in three places. Legend? Who knows, but maybe those of you who have spent more quality time with tomorrows big thing can spare a penny and a thought.
 
Come on Dan, dont be mean to people. knowing gus dont give you those kind of rights.
On another note, apparently Gus peed on THE spit fan.

Pro skiers are people just like us, soooo that's kind of stalkerish. But have fun following the life of a 16 year old.
 
So basically you are wondering if it is possible for someone who kills it on skis to actually be a decent person?..

I know that saying STFU to someone on a forum is rude and pretty lame in general. It was just an automatic reaction to that post. No offense to the poster, but when I read that it pissed me off.

exactomundo. Pro skiers certainly are just people, actually lesser people than the regular joe. Why? Because the regular joe realizes real life and what it takes and doesn't ruin their body for 2 grand a year and free goggles. And i love the part about following the life of a 16 year old. That is sooo lame.

and to the creator of this thread. kinda weird bro. not gonna lie. although if you want send gus a pm asking his thoughts on your outerwear choices and you might get a pretty helpful response.
 
when i was in grade 6 i did a school exchange thing to quebec and i was 12, with the family i stayed with we went to bars and all of us were aloud in, no questions asked.

I don't doubt it though, I bet all kids when they go pro are going to be a bit overconfident and even "cocky." Ha, he's on the same team as candide...he's gotta be stoked.

OF course he doesnt have the greatest style, but at the rate he seems to be progressing, his shit looks like its getting better and better everyday
 
i roomed with gus at coc this year, he is so sick, and he is like totally normal and wasnt cocky at all about totally killing it, he is sick .
