Thoughts on Candide 3.0?

I am 100% getting these skis for this season as they look dope but I am really not sure what size to go with. I am around 180cm and pretty light, weigh less than 150lbs/70kg and and looking at the 178 or 184.
I mainly ski in Europe, side country, off piste, all mountain and may do a bit of touring with them also. We ski a fair bit in the trees and I'm not sure if I will find the 184 a bit tricky to manoeuvre in tighter spaces. I have been skiing absolutely all of the mountain on my 1.0s in a 182 for the last few years and found they could hang but not sure I'd want a longer ski.
Any advice is appreciated.

I'm 170cm, 60kg and I ski the CT 2.0 in 178cm. I use the ski for everything - from park to touring - and I think it's the perfect size. I thought about 172 in the beginning, but everyone, including the Faction online support, suggested 178.
Don't forget that the skis (both the 2.0 and the 3.0) have a good amount of rocker. This means that while the ski might be 6cm longer, the effective edge length will only differ by like 2 or 3cms.
I'm really happy with the 2.0 8cm longer than me, so you should definitely go for the 3.0 which is only 4cm longer than you.

You'll want the 184 if you were comfortable on a 182 CT1.0. I haven't skied the newest 3.0 (pretty much nobody has, since they decided to redesign them so late. The CT3.0 samples I saw were actually the new graphic on the old ski) but they have more rocker than the 1.0 and wider skis always feel easier to pivot than skinny ones (other things being close to equal), so I wouldn't worry about an extra couple of centimetres. They have a decently short turn radius too, at 70kg I don't think you will have any issues.

Yeah, I agree with Twig. Go 184, I have a 1.0 in a 182 as well as a 2.0 in a 178 (weird, I know). There is a real good amount of rocker, plus its flat camber now. It pivots on a dime, and 182-184 is no jump at all, especially given the difference in rocker profile

Piggybacking on this rather than starting a new thread. I had my 182 18/19 CT3.0s delam on the first day, they are warrantying them with the 2020 model. I'm 170 cm (5'7") ~80 kg (175 lbs) and I can't figure out if I should go up to the 184 or down to the 178. Loved the 182s the few runs I got on them and I've been skiing 182 K2 Shredditor 102s the last 5 years for context. Live on the East coast but mainly ride out west where I mainly look for cliffs and chutes.
