Thoughts on Armada Halo 2?

Same here bump. Anybody make comparisons to the Infamous/FR? That five dimension spec has got me wondering.
 
I personally love mine. They hold a really good edge and they fair pretty well in fresh snow also. I mounted mine at -2.5 and they ride great around the mountain. They're a really fun ski, but not the lightest. The flex is medium/firm.
 
I really like the Halo2, the flex feels really nice and the swing weight is good so you can spin pretty easily off of rails etc. I definately had to ride them a few times before getting used to a bit wider ski in the park but now I love them!
 
I've been out around 25 times and the edge is baaaad but there is only one edge crack. The top sheet isn't the most durable as I've had serious chipping. It is mostly a park ski but will still do ok all mountain. As far as weight goes, they are on the heavier side but it is manageable. The ski has serious flex to it as well but I can stomp out 35ft 40ft jumps no problem. Overall, the ski performance wise is incredible and the early rise is dope but they aren't the most durable... But then again what ski is. Good luck op.
 
This years Halo 2 are wide but are very playful and are flex but not where you will wash out if you land backseat and the base is very strong but they are not hard to chip the top sheet
 
As I already broke 2 skis this season I'm thinking about getting more durable skis. How is the durability on these? And what about pop?
 
I love mine! Make sure you get them dead center mounted tho, they will feel a little weird dead center on groomers because of the duck foot technology, but in the park you won't notice it. They are a medium flex right away, but when you brake them in they are pretty much noodles like he said
 
dont listen to what this kid is saying. He has no idea what hes talking about. You want to get them 2.5 back from center because with more rocker in the tip they will feel like they're center mounted. If you go center there will be more effective edge behind you which isnt ideal for anything except if you are only going to ski switch. Also what the fuck is duck foot technology?
