Call me a n00b, but does anyone know the name of those Orange Bindings that a ton of pros have, seen most recently Talkington's new edit?

You can ride them at 8 just fine, but that's a pretty gross waste of money. That's a lot of binding for park, I've seen some kids at Breck that don't need to be riding them at anything higher than 8. Hope they don't fuck themselves up.

seriously. just stick with 120 dollar px12s and spray paint them if the color really matters that much

as someone who has both of the above mentioned bindings (well FKS 185s from a couple seasons ago) and the px12s.
comparing those bindings is like comparing a lambo and a ford focus. the only fixed heel piece in rossi's line worth riding other than the turn table is the SAS heel.

i'm just saying, if you don't need a din range that can go to 18, you're better off saving your money

a new binding in the royal line with a marker stlye turntable heelcoming out next year, I think its called the squire, may be horribly wrong though

Sure, everyone knows that. But some people buy the 180 instead of a more appropriate, safe and less expensive 140 simply because they are orange.

Doesn't bother my wallet, but I hope no one gets hurt doing this. FKS 185/180 like to hold on.

i remember hearing about those, but after a lil research learned that they arn't a specific park binding but just a light youth binding.

i have the new 140's and they do the job on my park skis just fine. ive never pre-released or not released when needed. except once when i hit a tree but that was my fault! haha

oh, definitely. i was more comparing the construction of the binding than the din range.
god knows i dont ride an 18 lol

IMO if you are asking on NS then there is NO WAY you should be buying an 18 din high performance binding.
although i do like the more bomber toe of the 155-185 VS the former 120 toe. (having both mounted on different skis)

not to mention if you buy at the right time you can get the 140s super super cheap. my shop was closing them out for 180.

yea i feel the same as you.. the toe piece is better on the 155 then the one on the 120

btw thanks for calling me out the other day...

i really appreciate it.
