I go up there sometimes when I can make the 5 hour drive ;) However most of the time I would be on Sugarbush and not Mount Ellen...do they have a sick park? What is there? Is it worth going there instead of Okemo or something, like less crowds/money and shit like that?

 
Sugarbush is good. They are steep and have long runs and great snow. If you are looking for park and pipe go else where...Okemo is good..Great pipe, alright park.

 
Yeah ive been there a whole bunch of times just to ski and i know it rocks. I wasnt sure aboot the park tho. thx.

Well Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen are bother part of Sugarbush and any lift ticket will be honored at both mountains and there's a connector lift at the top of the *thinks really hard* argh it could be the gatehouse express? well it's the first lift to the right of the Gatehouse lodge (lower lodge at Lincoln Peak, not Valley House) anyways at the top of that quad there is a lift that is about a 15 minute ride over to Mount Elle which has great runs and the park.

fuck it, its the sleeper lift, and the connector is the slidebrooke. the bumps and woods at sugarbush are pretty good, but i like madriver glen a little better for those. the parks alot better than last year, and supposedly the pipes alot better, and it might be a super pipe this year

 
yeah it's above the gatehouse quad. When you get off it will be in front of you.

I'd say Mad River is better for actual skiing, but Sugarbush's park this year isnt that bad i hear.

sugarbushes park is the best in northern VT hands down. the creator of the park, Mark Boulon (sp?) is the man, taking everything he hears from the guys who ride the park and making it happen. very cool guy, and a very cool park and superpipe
