Anyone going to Thompson Rivers University (formerly University College of the Cariboo) next year? I'm planning on going, I didn't apply until late but I think my chances of getting into my program are pretty high.

So yeah, anyone going there or planning on going there?

i go there, just finished my first year of the tourims management degree, its a pretty nice school, isn't much to do in kamloops but drink so there are a lot of partys, Sun peaks is 45 min away so its not that bad, i managed to ski 4 days a week while going to school full time, let me know if you need more info about TRU

cool i just gat accepted into the adventure guide diploma there will be headed off in aug nead a place to sat the dorm rooms i got pics of suck i would like to se someone put skis bike ect in one of them.

there are two dorms, Mcgill and Upper college heights. Upper college is defintly the better of the two more room and they are a bit more leniant tp partying. But both dorms are still very strict about partys and will evict you quickly. There are many apartments are the area which i recomend because you can do what ever you want. Dorms are still fun if its your first year at uni because you get to know a lot of people fast. Im not sure how old you guys are, if your straight out of highschool then dorms is the way to go but i would only do it for one year if you did. Deffintly stay away from Mcgill because the rooms are EXTREMLY small, its like a prison.

yha i dont now i shared a place with seven over the winter living in a closet it was fubn some night but when there parting and your not you want to break some skulls. i'l probly try and hook up with some others in my program and rent somthing

For the guy I talked to about TRU, I'm just posting here to let him know that I'm likely not going. I've reconsidered about the program and am likely going to be taking a 1 year program here and the continuing into Photography rather than Graphic Design.
