Anyone on NS go to Thompson River University? I'm thinking of going there and I'm wondering how the ski life is around there?

Hey, I'm brand spankin new to ns. I'm moving to kamloops from ontario to go to thompson rivers and i am wondering the same thing. can't wait for my first season out west! did you end up going there? if so how do you like it? anyone else from TRU or just kamloops in general?
 
Sunpeaks will be great for you onterrible folks. Its a nice size mountain with some limited slack country.

I cant comment on their park.

There are other good touring spots 1.5 hrs away.

Yep ive been to SunPeaks many times & it is indeed a huge upgrade from Ontario, Park is generally pretty nice to from what i remember although i havnt been in a few years.
 
Look into the ski club Out Here at TRU. It was started by my girlfriend and one of the rad destination dudes I know named Myles. They do several overnight trips to Sun Peaks over the season and are looking to do some bigger trips this season. Tell Myles that Caleb sent you.
