Thomas Kreif's Fury Park

Disappointed with this. The setup looked really sick, but I figured he would flow through between the pipe and other stuff better.

If you've got the budget then I guess you can do it. But, why? It reminds me of an Olympic white water course, all the thrills of a natural mountain / river ... except it's not.

This is like if Simon Dumont built his half pipe with all the crazy gaps in it, and then put out an edit of him skipping the crazy gaps and just hitting it like a normal halfpipe.

I disagree. Maybe if he hit the features more creatively, or you know, if it wasn't just him hitting stuff. Always amazed when such expensive features are built for only one rider. - especially when I think about the cost of building the feature compared to how much the rider got paid to hit said feature... it just doesn't add up. Makes me wonder: what was the point?

Next time bring your friends, geez!

the first and third angle are from a different shot which is in the video, but the part of him going through isnt. Any way i still feel like thats a lot of money to spend on a really dope setup for one guy to session. Regardless of who it is, I think it would have been done better justice with a whole crew hitting it instead of one guy.

Did anyone else get pissed at 2:24?

I wish some more creative skiers hit it rather than a pipe jock. That whole setup had so much more potential...

I meant the setup as a whole was more creative in my opinion. It was definitely super disappointing that he didn't step up to any of the more gnarly features.T he edit itself didn't even compare to the peace pipe edit, I was just talking about the whole setup.

Third shot is the only real one. The first two are doctored. You can watch the pixels fly across where the kreif actually because A I wanted it to look fake but it actually came out looking pretty fucking good minus the differences in shadows and B I didn't want to spend more than 10 minutes making it.

I agree. Also the editing was cool but I would have rather seen somebody slaying every aspect of that pipe creatively than some of the other shots and seeing them from several angles. Was stoked on the creeper feature that he never slid. There's no way you could put a snowboarder on that setup without them hitting that at least once.
