This year ski injuries!

Compression fracture to L4 vertebrae. If anyone has any experience with this or similar injury, pm much appreciated. cheers And does anyone know exactly what JP Auclair had done to his back? I can't find any specifics

Tore my ACL and lateral meniscus first day of skiing after a 1 ½ year of recovery from a knee injury in the other knee. I don´t know if I ever dare to put my skis back on.

that sucks, had a concussion 2 yrs ago and the worst part about it was I couldn't remember anything to learn from it. To this day i don't know what happened except that it was a booter.

consussions suck! can't even remember how I got to the hospital. maybe it's better that we don't remember cause then we would be scared?

Cracked the top of my humerus trying a right 9 in the pipe, it didn't feel very good. But at least I got my first broken bone out of the way!

today was my first day back skiing after i destroyed my right shoulder. hahah destroyed my left shoulder now. i guess me and front flips dont get along very well.

i thought if i could tuck more i would land on my back but i realized that wasnt going to happened so i tired to like roll over but my shoulder went straight into the ground and messed me.

This happened to my dad like 3 months ago when he fell on an icy hill
Its taken all this time to heal but its backHe said that swimming seemed to help itand just takin it easy on it, like not pushin yourself up on it
hope that hellps

cracked my heal and twisted my tail bone. 2 weeks later crack in my wrist. 3-4 weeks later broke both of my bones in my right leg. have had 4 surgeries... now i have a metal pole going down through my leg and 4 screws. Also i had to get skin from my thigh so they could close my leg after they cut open both sides of my leg. 2 muscles dead and small chance i can use them. my "strings" that go down to my toes are injured so there is a possibility i cant ski the next years or jump on a trampoline. i go to a rehab place where they try to fix my toes for 45 minutes 2 times a week and 5 times a week i go to the gym where i have to train up my muscles because i laid still 3 weeks at the hospital.

i cant really see how i should complain when there are billions of people struggling to get food and shelter... i still feel lucky to have had the chance to enjoy skiing as long as i had the chance to...

Broken hip and concussion on the same fall.

Just came back and broke my elbow and not to mention I can't even bend my thumbs correctly thanks to poles.

acl on slight case on a straight air on a jump i had been throwing everything off for about a week. didnt fall, rode out of it but heard a very disturbing pop, and my seasons done.

messed up on a disaster 4 on a rail van

shattered my tibia snapped my fibula (the long way) and tore my PCL

ill be %100 in augest . . .

I was going for frontside surface switch up, was almost at the end of the rail, came of one ski on each side of the rail, fell fowards onto my face on the landing of the rail, tried to break my fall with my hands. Ended up fracturing my thumb, really it was just a severe sprain, but a little chunk of bone got kind of pulled off. So, now I am in a spint of like a week... no pole steeze ftw.

1 concussion

1 dislocated shoulder

1 pulled neck ligament

2 sore shins

3 core shots

1 delaminated tail

1 busted binding heel piece

heavy sprain right knee..

caught a bit of unwanted air on a flat light day, next thing i know i was wondering how many times i was rolling and thankful my helmet was on. 2 week.

laceration left knee, 5 stitches..

bad spill on a rail, didn't even think it was stitch worthy and kept shredding.. must've been the adrenaline.

2 weeks.

20 days into my season (jan 6) tore my left acl and medial miniscus, last season 10 days in (december 12) i tore my right acl and medial miniscus. shit sucks

Cracked a chip off of my Humerus right below the shoulder socket. Fell into the pipe going for right 9.

sounds like what they diagnosed mine...sprained shoulder. caught both my tips nollieing a knoll and straight up supermanned it. been about 4 weeks now and almost back to 100%...haven't been resting it much though. i was out 3 days after a idid it just couldnt hit jumps for a while. be patient is my advice

My mountian only sets up 1 rail from opening(december 14th) till the parks up (january 7th?) point is that i was progressing so much. i went from last season only able to do boardslides (i snowboard) and straight airs, to bacl lips and super floaty 1s. then the first day the park was up i was learnin so much shit just because of how confident i was. i was like yea im gona learn 360s... so i tried. i caught my edge on the countercarve about 10 feet before the jump. got bleeding in the lungs and a concussion. since then i havent tried a 3 yet... facepalm for myself... i
