So I thought for my 2,000th post I would post some crazy videos of sh*t that will blow your mind.

and i know everyone has seen thsi one but its always good to watch it again.

 
I will laugh when that rock climbing guy falls to his death. I bet the cameraman was having a heart attack the whole time.
 
i bet you will feel like an ass after you hear that he actually did die you dick. a rope broke and he fell to his death. why would you laugh at someones death? he died doing what he loved. did you laugh when you heard about CR, or MCconkey? no and they were in the same situation. so fuck you.
 
Because he was being reckless for the sake of being reckless. I don't think it's funny that he died from a rope breaking because that's just bad luck, but if he fell to his death climbing without a rope then his stupidity would have been humorous.

 
were you a personal friend? because I believe skiing is reckless as well, but we do it because we love it and we love the thrill we get from it.
 
It is not crazy if you have the ability. he climbed for many years without a rope and did not die because of that.

It may be crazy to every single other person, but he was just pushing his limits, the same way skiers do to land that next trick, or land the next and biggest cliff. The only difference is that much fewer people can relate to what danny osman was doing.

anyway that freeclimbing video second from bottome when he jumped up to reach is crazy, i dont think i could do that for any amount of money, even tho he is a pro he knows what hes doing so its different but yea its insane
 
freesoloing just seems like such a bad idea to me. especially if you have a family. there are so many factors you cant control that could instantly lead to your death. thats not something i would fuck around with
 
I have the utmost respect for shane and danny as pioneers of their sport. To say that one was being more reckless than the other though is a pretty large assumption. Crafting your own safety gear in any life threatening situation is pretty close in danger levels.
