One of my friends is an EMT and she said they were at a fire once and the firefighters came out with like 5 dead kittens that were all burned on one side. They handed them to the EMT's and they were pretty much like "fuck, we cant do anything, theyre straight up dead" and then the news showed up and the firefighters took the kittens and put the burned side facing away from the cameras so they looked like they had saved them sand they put it in the paper.

yeah i know, but the video is a feel-good video-- why would anyone want to know that? It just ruins the feel-good aspect of the video. I showed this video to my coworkers after I saw this thread...I did not tell them that the kitten died.
