OK I cant sleep right now and im really hurting. a really good friend of mine. someone I really care for and would risk my life for after losing her mom and being really depressed joined a cult. the cult made her feal like if she belonged. the grandmaster of this Cult has sex with all the girls in the cult. she never called it sex she calls them rituals. she got brainwashed and now the cult is the most impoortant thing in her life.

I cant stand her being brainwashed like that and if I ever talk bad about the grandmaster whose pretty much just using this cult to bone tons of girls she gets really offended and its like if I killed jesus or something. the fact that she doesnt realize how bad this situation is and that theirs nothing I can do to help her is one of the most painful things I have ever felt

Cults have always been there for people who are in a really vulnerable stage of life or "looking for something". It's highly unlikely that these cult leaders who pledge themselves Messiahs actually have any good intentions. You probably have heard about those freaky cults, where the leader actually fucked all of them, men included, fucked their children, they all served the leader, and when the cops came to his villa, he gave the cultists guns and told them to protect him. They pretty much all died in tye firefight if I remember right, it was in late 90's?

You gotta brainwash her back if you can, but her life doesn't depend on it, so don't stay awake all night because of her, you can only do so much I guess..

i doubt taking the cult just away from her would really help. you said she sought something she fells she belongs to, so show her that you and other friends are there for her. also see if the cult opposes any certain activities like going to the movies or stuff and show her how much fun those things can be. also depression is by many considered a sickness, so you should consider talking to someone professional.
 
you have to do something soon before it gets any worse man, do some research into this cult, talk to the police about this, don't waste another minute contemplating about this or typing on NS

how the heck do you get involved with a cult? Maybe my area isn't cool (or big) enough to have these things...but i've never known about any cults. Not that they advertise or something. Are cults usually social groups that are more than they let on to be?

Aren't cults illegal? This is right hard, cults take over peoples lives. Cops? Interventions? Priest? I don't know what you should do.
