I drive down to the atm today, see some lady leaving, park, go inside and see that her card was in with a balence of $1000. Easily could of withdrawn mad cash and peaced if i wanted to but I ran 2 blocks after her, gave her back the card.

Walk back to the atm. Then im trying to withdraw $40 and see that i have no money in my account which is weird... so i call my dad and he says that the money he deposited will take another day. Let some other lady behind me use the machine while im on the phone. I'm like shit i need money for gas and food today, but I guess I'll have to figure something out. Get off the phone. I'm about to walk out back to my car but she stops me and pulls out two crisp $20s and hands them to me.. I'm like what , no I can't accept that. She said pass it on, dropped the bills in my hands and peaced before I got to say anything more

 
doing good things for random people is actually so rewarding, but your story takes it to the next level. thats sweet man
 
wait which lady gave you the money? the one that you let use the atm or the one that you gave the card back?
 
thats awesome. you know that insurance commercial of everyone helping each other out and its like when its you, its called responsibility, when its your insurance company its called w/e. That commercial is awesome.
 
what? the lady who gave u the money was just the random person at the atm, not the lady who left her card in the machine
 
Damn dude that's sweet. You got some mad good karma for giving that old lady her card back, and it payed off. That is sweet.
 
thats awesome i was out to lunch with some buddies and i saw a lady struggling to carry this big package kinda looked like a door so i helped her carry it and she gave me a 20 i was in shock cause it was like 100 feet and i said the no but she jumped in her car and peaced leaving me standing there mouth open......
 
one time a random person gave me a few bucks for a vending machine when they saw me searching my empty pockets, but thats nothting compared to your story haha

already bought food and gas like she gave it to me for, i know she would want me to have fun

 
sweet , sometimes i believe karma too, like when ever i do something i know i shouldnt something comes back at me.

good karma isnt always about money either,
 
wow thats some redic karma. your lucky you were there right at the right time because there are probably not that many people that would have done that for you

the other night i was riding my bike home from meeting my friend, who was on his longboard behind me. we were cruising to the bodega for beer and i see a phone on the ground, so i pick it up and its still on, the last call was made 20 minutes before so i was like shit this person lost their phone. i could have used it but i was like ill call this last call first. called the phone, the girl whose phone it was came down to the street to get it back and gave me ten dollars for being nice. so we went to the store and bought a 6pack of high life and three 22s of ballantine for 10.50 and got drunk for returning a cell phone.
 
wow if that situation happened to any person here on NS, i'd suspect you'd be the one that would take the 1000 and run. good job though!
