This past winter, most productive/advancing?

ive been thinking about this alot recently, do you think this was skiings most "productive" year. by productive i mean like advancing, because each year skiing gets taken to a new level and this year it was a huge step i feel like with bobby and tj at X games especially
 
No. I think skiing always progresses at the same rate, it just seemed so much bigger because the stuff they threw was so big. I also think that skiing is kind of starting to branch out and there are a few different styles. Tom Wallisch's dick isn't being ridden nearly as hard, in fact I think he's not even at the forefront of our sport. Hell, who is at the forefront. There are more guys right now doing crazier things than I can count. Look at Montage, I have never seen so many threads on those guys and they are killing it. I think NS is just starting to see that there are more skiers out there than the X Games competitors. There are more edits and more AM film companies than ever before and skiing is bigger than it's ever been.I hope I didn't contradict myself in there, but I think I might have.

So, a summary would be: Skiing is progressing at about the same rate, it's just branched out into different aspects, so it seems like there are more things going on. More stuff is happening, just in those branches of freestyle skiing.

I really hope that made sense.
 
Well I'll be damned. Look at the OP's username. More and more kids are making small films and it just seems like edits are rolling out all the time.
 
well considering the "progression" that happened at x big air last year(09). the answer would be yes. ha

i have to agree with Sierra_Steeze that it hasnt gone much faster really, everything just coincided. we did break a couple barriers this year: triples and 16s mainly but doubles became a lot more mainstream too. they just happened to all be this year
