DOnt buy this ssx 4 or wahtever it the worst thing that could happen to skiing. A unrealistic game wiht no pros , No pros means no commitent to quality or the ski industry. We're all getting used by EA fucking games. No one will benefit from this except coprate heads and slowly our core sport will disapear into Poser land.

who cares... its a game with skiing and ssx is known for pretty good snowboarding games, why would they make the skiing part of it any worse?

SSX Tricky is the shit, just because they got skiiers in it now I shouldnt buy it and play one of my favorite games because it doesnt have any "pros" in it? Like it even matters that 60,000 people from newschoolers wont buy the game.

SSX is fun to play but its not at all realistic, and i dont want to play a ski game that resembles SSX. we need something like amped 2

SSX is fun even if it is so unrealistic. Skiing will be fun and it will be just like jiberish...you can either for unrealism in a switch cork 1440 blunt or go for some style on a nice cork 5 safety...

Just so you guys know there will be real skis in this game. I know we are participating with our 05-06 line and I believe there are a few other key companies involved as well. The guys that are incharge of the game are super on it, and they are interested in consulting with guys like Pollard to make sure it's authentic and as realistic as possible.

Please dont' speculate on the game until you try it. It might still suck, but EA is making a real effort.

ha atleast they are progressing and making skiing known in console games... the only people that know about jibberish is NS and the skiing community.

if you want the word to get out dont you think it has to come from a major game first and not something geared at only skiers?

thats probably why no skiing game has ever come out besides JM-madd trix... skking only appeals to skiers, and skiers are going to have to make that known so EA or ROCKSTAR get a feel for an audience then they might produce a all skiing game.

think about it this way, if we buy it then other companies will see that people are interested in skiing games and will make better ones. but if we dont buy ssx then other companies will be like, well that wasnt a success so we will not make a skiing game.

Guys, think about this. Even if you don't support SSX 4, still give it a chance and buy the game. If people don't buy it, then these companies will think that there is no profit in skiing video games, and won't be making another one any time soon. If you really want an Amped 2 with skiers, then buy this game, and hopefully these other companies will see the market that skiing has, and will come out with some skiing games.

If they did that then it would turn out like Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder, but with skis. That game sucked(along with the newer Tony Hawk games) because it had no style. Microsoft gives the athletes in Amped style, but Neversoft dowsn't give style to the athletes in their sports games. It's just the way they program it.

you guys dont get it....if SSX4 or whatever sells 2 or 3 times as many copies are ssx3 then they might see that the skiing they added opened new market and they might consider making a skiing game or another mix game later on.

well, i don't think that ssx was ever really known for being realistic, or having pro's in it... so it won't really hurt us, we really need like an amped 2 style skiing game, and maybe the way to show skiing has a market is by buying ssx

 
Yeah, the only way that other companys will moake diff ski games is if this one starts selling hardcore and it gets good ratings. Otherwise, they will see no market in the ski industry. when does this game come out by the way?
