This new moderation thing

Who is up for it?

I personally dont like it.

Certain people, with different opinions are deciding where your posts go. They decide if they are worthy enough or not to stay.

But with all things, it has its good points and bad points.

The only reason I wrote this was because I miss that god damn female jibber thread.

 
hmmmm..... There's a lot of moderastors and everything gets ironed out. If someone bumps something down when it shouldn't have been then someone else will bump it back up.

i like the idea of having moderators.

and just let the damn thing die peacfully. Fighting won't do any good.

Okay here is the deal with the female jibber thread.....SOMEBODY bumped it down hehe, nobody has yet to bump it up again. What does that tell you? Even now, go and look at it. After the 2000th post(oh did I mention I got that too? hehehe 1000, and 2000:) ) it actually was on topic....for like 6 posts. I think that is a record or something;). So anyways then people start posting about how 'come on guys we have to keep posting to keep this alive' well that is not the point of having a thread; keeping it alive. The point was the most beautiful female jibber. It is alive still, just not on the first page.....And who knows? Maybe if it gets back on topic and stays that way for at least a page someone will decide to bump it up again. Until then it is going to sit back there where it is now.

word yellow, I think the moderators do good as, it's workin' out totally well and all. Good stuff stays up top and the crappy things get moved. You don't really even notice it and now we don't have to complain about non ski gabber in the ski forum so it's all good! yay!

moderators also keep things organized...meaning all non ski stuff gets put in the nonski forum etc etc

yeah sometimes I dont like it cause like things get switched around and I get confused..but it does help organize the forums...also they helped get rid of that shit thread by RODRIGO...dumbass

 
i am against it because harvey removed a post that didnt need to be removed.

First thing: Which post was removed that you feel should not have been?

Second: I keep hearing people talking about how Harvey did this and how Harvey did that. YOu guys have to remember that there are like 8...well I think it was around there.....different moniters. So it is more likely that it was one of us than Matt who moved stuff around. As for getting confused as to where certain threads went....simple. Post them in the right forum and that problem will be solved.

The female jibber thread just is a mess. I agree with yellow, if it would stay on topic and not be so stupid, yay! Good for the thread(?)

BUT at the same time, its been posted in so many times it makes whatever page its on look ugly.

Maybe not the most important point but the thing is, moderators were created to keep things organized and on topic. The most beautiful female jibber thread is a perfect example of something that SHOULD be bumped down.

Know what ios confusing, when they switch the placing of the threads. Messes me up. I spent a while loooking for a thread before when it was just switched into the proper section. LOL.
