its all realitive. if youre a light skier, as most women are, you dont want a pair of 4x4s stuck to your feet, as you wouldnt be able to turn the things. if these skis are made for light riders, of course theyre going to be lighter... thats why you dont see a lot of women cruising around on prophet 130's.

"its ok for a girls ski" yeah right, girls skis shouldnt be any less quality then ours, roxy makes shit boards and they are just gonna make even shittier skis. just because they dont haev 150 pounds behind them doesnt mean that the skis have to be made of feathers and plastic. do you think they have any less expectations for performance then us?

yes they probably would suck but somehow I don't think roxy started making skis with the intention of becoming a dominant force in womens freeskiing. In my opinion they're trying to appeal to the girly girl skiers out there who care more about looking good on the hill than skiing anyway so if you ask me they should have a damn sexy team.

thats all the skis are for. looking good. and, lets face it, 90% of girl skiers dont take it that seriously, its just a bit of fun like going down the beach. its the same for maybe 50% of male skiers: just a bit of fun, not a sport or a lifestyle.
hence, roxy are going for the majority of girls who wouldnt care how shitty a pair of skis are, so long as they look good. theyre only ever going to be used on groomed blue runs in sunny weather anyway.
