I was wondering if the volkl one is an okay ski to have as a daily driver/resort powder ski? i have a pair of all mountains around 96 underfoot but i was wondering if it would be worth it? i wouldn't use them on icy days but when there is a little fresh? im not sure cause they are 116 underfoot so thats probably too wide.

if only i lived in japan...

Also i am just wondering, im not exactly sure if i want another ski but i'm just looking around.
 
You could use anything you want as an every day ski, as long as you understand the shortcomings of the ski.

I would ski a 190 Elan Boomerang every day. At 120mm underfoot it's surprisingly good on groomers. On ice it's a little scary. But I'm ok with that because I don't like to ski on ice either.
