Randomly booked a 3 day trip to Tignes glacier for the 4th, 5th and 6th October.

Just found this out:

'With fresh snow across the Alps, the leading French glacier resort of Tignes opens for its long 2007-8 season later this month, on 29 September.'

Yippeeee!

niiice. must be nice to have the money to do that. im in school and no way i got the cash flow to do that

It was a bargain - £99 for everything except flights (includes lift pass, ski equipment if we want, food, transfers...) and the flights were only £50 return.

WWWWWWWWWWWWwooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I bet you can get like £20 flights too. I once saw a £1.99 to Ireland or something crazy

There's still room for more people :D were 3 going to begin with, now we're looking at at least 6 :D

My winter is so set

October 4th - Tignes

October 27th - London Metro Ski Show and the Season Workers' Party

November 2nd - Skiworld Preseason Party

December 1st-14th - Training in Tignes

December 15th-end of season - St Anton!!!!

Woop!

Training? Are you a racer?

My season = November - April Skiing. Whistler, Grouse Mountain, Mount Seymour, Cypress Mountain.

It must kinda suck to be in a country where there's pretty much nowhere to ski apart from those indoor places/snowflex places.

wait...so you booked a trip just to go chill

and then you found out that there is gonna be snow so now your goin to ski??

did i interpret that right??

right on bro

yea pics when you get back

Nah unfortunately not - training for work (I have to host a chalet while I'm in Austria)

There's a glacier in Tignes thats open for Summer skiing, which is what we thought we were getting, but they're bringing the snow cannons out and making use of the fact its been snowing further down, so we get more runs (depending on how many pistes are actually open)

Haha, no thank god! starts October, then im back here 2 months before i head off for 5 months in France and Austria.

i never knew there was a galcier in tignes, congrats on the trip, sounds awsome, i just booked my trip to les deux alpes =] 29th december to 5th january, so ill be there for new years celebrations, fireworks and stuff in the mountains is amazing...

My season is November to April, typically. If there's early snow, it might be earlier (Whistler).

On NS its & euro ; without the spaces. because the pound sign on NS is & pound ;. i just tried it above ^^^^^^^ it worked
