this post was actually the stupidest shit ever. it seems like skiers have a skewed vision of style. for example, the octo grab. you think that looks good??????

just showing this kid's just doing all the new hot grabs, slightly unoriginal. i bet if you tossed in that video with another random few minute long jump edits i wouldn't be able to pick him out of the crowd.

but in all fairness and with no hate, he can do good tricks.
 
see. the funny thing about style is that it's all opinion - noone can be wrong. this dude is doing some of the hardest tricks in the books, getting into position (grabbing) and holding it. sorry - but that's style.
think about what you're talking about here. you don't like his skiing because he's throwing "the new hot grabs" what, would you rather see him throw some huntney's? If everyone was under the same thinking as you - we'd all have to ski the exact same way, throw the same tricks (with the same grab to compliment), and can't forget about the all too important afterbang. fuck that - style is what separates us, not joins us.
 
Well said, my thoughts exactly. This kid had some of, if not THE most technical tricks of all the KOS submissions. All of his tricks had solid grabs- it's all very well to spin a sw 7 with a fuckload of style, but PC is throwing some of the most advanced tricks of any rider out there, so stop bitching that he isn't afterbanging them (which is absurd anyway, but thats a different debate...) Besides, when PC does throw less tech tricks, they are as stylie as anyone- take the hits on that sketchy ass summer setup (which looks wicked btw): tweaked truckdriver that reminded me exactly of schiller and dope octograb tweaked to the max- all on a small sketchy mound of dirt....

Have some fucking perspective you morons and give PC some respect, even if he is from an exotic faraway land whose whereabouts on a world map escape you.

I know for a fact all of the tricks at the big air comp (the jump with the helly banners) were landed; i saw another edit with more extended clips. And id imagen that all of the others were as well, they all looked pretty solid.

thanks for saying the exact opposite of what i'm saying. what i'm saying is this kid's STYLE as in the way he skis, is nothing special at all. stock style. i said the kid throws down, but his style of skiing is fully going with the grain.

exactly. in my opinion it was loaded with style (except the landing) and the octo grabs were so sick and the ninja grab was HUGE.

i mean, you're saying hornbeck and wallisch offer "fresh tricks" what tricks (remember we're talking jumps here, not rails) are they offering up? unless your inventing some new double flip or doing some crazy screamer double grab it's all been done before. If buddy was doing tricks like your hornbeck and wallisch would that make it better?
if you want stock style look at jon ollson - that dude wrote the fucking book on "perfect". octo grabs, high mutes, all ninja'd out truckdrivers are not stoke style.

and your statement that PC has stock style and stock tricks is, frankly, ridiculous. PC has borrowed the best stylistic aspects of some of the world's top skiers and forged his own steeze from that. stock tricks? i can't speak for anyone else, but if a kangaroo 10 is now a stock trick then skiing has progressed to a far higher level than i had imagined...

fresh? you're right- making your own step-up jump for a summer setup is totally played, he should make a flatbar or something and learn to pretzel, that shit would be like soooo much fresher...
