This kid needs props first double off a rail (not Gus)!

First of all, Repost. Second of all dub front =/= what people consider a dub off a rail/box. I mean it was sick and props for sure but props have been given.
 
I'm surprised that kid didn't snap his leg, probably because of his FTs. I had a friend that front flipped-landed back seat ans snapped his shin in two places.
 
Dude thats a box why does he deserve props that's not a double at all its a double flip, why would you even post it screw boxes do it off a rail next time gosh!

1) That kid is damn good, and I could not throw a double front off that box.2) That being said, nothing about it compares to Kenworthy's double. It may as well have been a jump as he didn't even turn sideways. It was WAY smaller than Kenworthy's. He skied out of it, but only after a LONG butt slide, Kenworthy stomped the shit out of his.

So yes, sick, but in the same realm as Kenworty? No.
 
its not that people don't think its sick and insane, its just that a double front off a box is not the same thing as a dub off a rail.
 
I get what you're saying but theres no legit way to argue your point, you can't call it "a double front (flip)" and not call it a "double flip" at the same time. 2 Flips is a double flip but yea overall I agree, just the wording doesn't really fit.
 
you're right, but the term 'dub' implies double flat, double cork, double rodeo, double misty, etc

think about it, when did the term dub become so popular? once people began doing double flats and such. that's why a straight double flip isn't considered a 'dub.' people just know that dub refers to a double flip/cork without a straight axis. and i think that's why evan said double front =/= dub (dub being the crucial word) flip
 
props but gus's was a legit like hexo flip or some shit not just a dub front flip. also cant remember who either leigh powis or other icelantic rider, dubs off a wallride in PBP new movie.
 
Obviously a double front flip is a double flip but im talking about real "double" that people want to see and are expecting when someone says "someone did a dub off of a rail". Double backs and double fronts don't really count cause they're not really hard. Not saying i can do them, but people have been doing dub fronts and backs for 20 years.
