had an open invite on myspace, his parents were away, he invited 100 - 500 turned up. The house was semi-trashed, cops turned up, their cars had bottles thrown at them, neighbours cars too - basically shit hit the fan and the kid whose party is was doesn't give the slightest fuck. Said that when his parents come home he's going to bail, won't apologise to the authorities. The police commission want's to serve him with a $20,000 fine for fucking with cop cars and overall being a dick, and he still doesn't give a shit.

I don't know how things roll down under, but if I have people over at my place, and they decide to go out on the street and fuck shit up or throw bottles at cop cars, I'm not taking their heat.

I could probably be charged with noise violations and some other stuff, but I'm not responsible for the actions of 500 people.

Here's an analogy - the rest of the world is obsessed with soccer (football). As far as I know, a lot of games have ended up in riots and shit. So, are the people that own the stadiums/teams liable for the rioting because they "invited" the people to the game?
 
I agree that he shouldn't be responsible for what happens outside the boundaries of his property..I just told you what happened bud, not who is in the right, who is liable etc.

I still think he's a dick though.
