see at first i thought all those movies were going to suck and only losers would see them. then i got forced into watching the first one and it turns out...it was a good fucking movie. then i saw the second one...and now i cant wait to see the third. woop woop.

i had wanted to read the book since i was in grade 8 but i never got around to it...then i forgot all about it.....then i saw the movie...now i think that reading the book would be boring and predictable...is it the same as the movie pretty much?

I just got 2 towers on DVD, when then all come out Im gonna rip them to my computer and put them all together into one huge 9 hour movie. It will kick so much ass. plus I got optical output from my sound card and DV out on my video card, with 6.1 surround sound. everything digital. bitches

4 hours? how could that be? i thought they had to be under 3 to be in a theater, im pretty sure anyway. I know when Gangs of New York came out, Scorsesse had to edit like 2 hours out of it so it could go into theaters.

dude, linemav, it depends on the movie/company producing it. miramax is a bitch about shortening them therefore scorsese was made to, but new line knows this is gonna be huge no matter how long it is so there kinda lenient with peter jackson
