so basicly my screen just starts tweaking out like this sometimes...its way more intense then this cause everything is just flashing and your mouse is hopping around...so to fix it i have to open task manager and stop the explorer process and restart it...

anny clue why its doing it its just been pissing me off lately and i want it to stop....as well with lots of other things with vista
 
ahaha balls! that sucks man probably like, makes it hard to use your computer and stuff

you should check to see if there are any new drivers for your video card
 
if thats itunes, that used to ahpped to me and then i would just minimize and then maximize, but it doesnt happen anymore
 
i had some wierd ass problems kinda like that, accept internet explorer would not respond every time i opened. the problem just went away after a couple updates. like he said, give updating your drivers a try.
 
ahhh i remember the old days with a PC where it would fuck up that badly...

i kid, but seriously i don't know what's going on

 
you fucking whiners, its not that bad. sometimes you open itunes and its black and as soon as you maximize it, its normal. its not vista's fault your computer sucks
 
same exact shit happens to me, glad im not the only one, but the thing is how do you restart explorer.exe without actually restarting the entire computer? cuz everytime i end the process but then i just have a blank screen
 
man how happy am i that i dont have to deal with that. alright im really happy. if i were to be using a PC id probably downgrade to.... O who am i kidding, id never be caught dead using a PC.
 
I had the same problem every time I loaded itunes, I would either have to wait to minimize then remaximize itunes each time.

Windows Explorer and sometimes firefox would also freeze for me almost every single time I opened 2 or more tabs. Also, my computer ran really really slow even with 2 gigabytes of RAM

And.....that is why I installed windows xp on my laptop last night. I couldn't be happier, everything runs faster and I haven't had a freeze up yet.
 
microsoft canning vista might happen sooner than you think. i was reading somewhere that dell, and one other major pc maufacturrer, maybe hp? are going to start shipping their new computers with XP again because vista has so many problems.
 
vista SUCKS!... microsoft is gonnna be pulling it no doubt. there actualy offering a 100$ downgrade to xp now. no joke. i sit aroudn with nerds and deal with computers every day. it jsut has toomany bugs and flaws. the only thing thats better about it is it is some what prettyer to look at. and if thats all u want to do with ur compouterr u prolly should get a mac.

oh and by the way i updated all my video card drivers and stuff and i havent had it happen again yet...but we will see..
 
I graduated high school and moved out and bought myself a new desktop and new laptop that all came standard with Vista.....Im starting to get the classic "blue" screen soo I hope windows can get some new upgradeable software. I should have thought things through more.....whenever a new OS comes out it always has bugs and kinks.....
 
Point taken......its inexcusable for all the issues Vista is having straight up.....bugs were inevitable...but to the amount and severity they are happening, its just pathetic. I really thought Windows would have gone for a more efficient OS...but instead they had to try and go for useless functions and gadgets...
 
hmmm i guess that makes sense.

i'll change my statement then,

i cant wait till there is a noticeable slip up for mac's

even though i do agree that vista has some serious problems that need to be fixed in the next 6 months...
