If I were Canadian, I would vote for Laroque. I may not agree with him politically, but it would be awesome to have a politician, throw the gloves down and beat the crap out of the opposition. C-Span would be the best channel ever if we had a few guys in congress like that.

in a lot of ways this is true, in a lot of ways its not. but anyways i think its pretty cool. we get a lot of American perks without the negative stereotypes that Americans get. The world loves Canada, or at least likes us. and if theres a War we're gonna be defended by America.
 
I spend a month every summer in canada. I like the people and my only complaint is that everything is so fucking expensive.

Yea well every ontarioan that lives close to the border shops in america because they cant afford to shop in canada. I have never seen as many ontario liscense plates in michigan as i have recently.
 
minimum wage is typically higher in canada than the states, due to a higher cost of living. however the dollars are close enough that when converting your hourly pay in canada into american dollars, you go spend it in the states and can get way more of a bang for your buck. its not that no one can afford to live here, its that they're being smart with their money and using america for its cheaper products. this however does not work for americans....
