That wasnt a cornice...that was a cattrack-type hit at Alyeska resort.

nice edit. was some of that hilltop too? and was that powder off like max's chute or the top and you hiked it? i wish alyeska had a better park though cause birches was better this year and thats wierd....cause birch is tiny
 
That edit had a GREAT vibe - the editing and music matched perfectly. I'll make a note to look out for your films next year, if this edit is any indication to the quality of films you produce. Keep up the awesome work that keeps me stoked to ski.
 
haha no my zero spin was shot at Turnagain. the shot where Lucas sinks up to his head in powder or the line with the face shots or all the front flips and table hits are at Alyeska except for the Shaun Poirot doing the cab 7 on the Alpine Meadows 70 footer.

and birch isnt just tiny...its in fairbanks. Alyeska should get their shit togetha
 
yah tru dat. birch made 99.99% of that snow too cause we only got like 23 inches this year. maybe alyeska should make a park that actually has a downhill slope....and no think where you have to hike to the main park. is alyeskas park usually better though cause this year spring break was my first time there.
 
no this is pretty much the best park we've ever had...and it still sucks cat ass.

oh that sucks. i hope next year birch makes another good park. but most of those powder shoots and the 180-through-the-tree was off max's chute? cause if i go next year i'm so finding that.
 
nope. Not a single shot was on Max's.

the 180 through the trees was by brownshorts. the frontflips were off kitchen. The shot where he sinks up to his head was right beneath lo-los.
 
oh wow alyeska looks really different with powder when i was there it didn't snow at all and it was like 0-10 degress F.
 
how long is alyeska open till? like mid may? and on that ski camp thats alyeska, do they like put the rails and jumps on the top and close the hill or area for it or what?
 
why do they still close alyeska if theres snow on the ground? wouldn't that be more profitable then just keeping a camp open?
 
no, because alyeska makes no money off the camp. Easy snowboards makes money off the camp. Easy rents out resort property though, so I guess in a way, Alyeska DOES make profit off what they are doing already.

and by the time camp comes around, the mountain has no snow on it, so theres no point in keeping it open.
 
whoever was talking shit about birch, we the best park we've ever had and it was better then most places even if the snow is made from recycled water and looks like scrabbled eggs.
 
i wasn't talking shit about birch cause the park did rule, i was saying its sad alyeska has such a small park with all the snow they get
 
you're kidding me right? that was by far one of the best trailers i have seen in a while. filming looks SIICK...skiing looks SIICK...and your brother absolutley KILLS those 180s off cliffs.
 
that was real sick, both skiing and editing. out of curiosity, what did you use to shoot the majority of that footage?
