That is what is so mind blowing about our universe and actually what made me interested enough in physics to take this bitch of a major just to teach it. We are both bigger and smaller than we could ever possibly fathom.

Basically, To the observable universe, we look smaller than a quark looks to us.If you ask a quark, we look bigger than a galaxy.
 
String theory, I have only done quantum stuff before, and that was brutal and I have heard that string theory is way way worse, so this must be a pretty dumbed down version, but anyways
